This watch was a first attempt at restoring a vintage watch case with the new tools on hand including laser welding and lapping arm, it is a great result and yes, sides should be polished but for the moment I do not have the lapping machine on hand yet. The results are fabilous nonetheless and the watch is very clean overall. The dial/hands/crystal are all original and the famous bezel spring is present as it is always missing and it is the main reason why these bezel's rotating effect fail because the wheel holding it in place needs this spring to prop it in place.
