Jaquet-Droz is one of the oldest companies to have been creating masterful timepieces. It is nearly a 300 years old watch manufacturer yet is still resides in the shadow  of more prolific and advertized watchmakers. The Grande Seconde is a beautiful piece and its immaculate onyx dial is classy. The watch is Canadian and was purchased in 2020. Sadly the box is not available and was lost in a move by the original owner.
