Rolex watches are often said to be incorrect or modified, I have heard it all. There are hard to get but they exist in their purest original form if you know what to look for. This 1016 with Frog foot dial dating from 1972 is in very good honest condition overall with a perfect dial and hands.  The mercedes hand has a small crack in the lume but is very good still. The watch has been slightly polished in the past but remains thick and very honest in shape.
